Baby Jacob.....our precious son....
Your stay here on earth was so brief.
We know you've gone home to heaven;
But still we are buried in grief!


It's hard to realize just now,
To accept this without fuss,
The reason you had to leave so soon
Was God needed you more than us!

Our aching arms are empty now,
Our hearts are filled with tears;
We had so much love to give to you
It would have taken years!


But days were all we had, my son;
Still you'll shed your precious light.
And as we look up we'll remember you;
There's a new star in heaven tonight!
